Granita is Italian ice, is a semi-frozen dessert made from sugar, water and various flavorings. It’s related to sorbet.

RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 6  kiwi fruits
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 50 g sugar
Directions:
  1. Add kiwi to the blender and mix until smooth, add water, sugar and mix again.
  2. Place on a level surface in your freezer and freeze for 2 hours, stirring and scraping with a fork every 20 minutes to break up the ice crystals. Cover and freeze for at least 1 hour more.
