Ingredients:
- 4 slices bread
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- sugar for taste
- 2 tablespoon butter
Directions
- Whisk milk,egg, salt, sugar together in a bowl. Heat butter in skillet over medium heat.
- Dip bread slices in egg mixture.
- Cook french toast 2-3 minutes per side. It should be golden brown and firm in the centre. Keep hot in a warm oven until ready to serve with strawberry jam.
